What is the Madonna eye lift?

The Madonna eye lift also known as a fractional CO2 eye lift, which is a non-invasive, skin resurfacing alternative to eyelid surgery.

What are the benefits?

The Madonna lift can give men and women a rejuvenated appearance by treating wrinkles, saggy skin, crow’s feet, droopy lids, dark circles, and elevate the brow without the risks associated with blepharoplasty surgery.

What is a fractional CO2 laser?

CO2 laser skin resurfacing is the industry’s “gold standard” in laser technology. However, the traditional CO2 laser treatment had a high risk of pigmentary issues, scarring, and a long healing time. The fractional CO2 laser is the newest technology allowing for a safer CO2 treatment because only a fraction of the skin is treated. Fractional lasers emit a beam of light in a pixelated pattern creating thousands of micro, perforated columns in the skin while leaving untreated areas around each column intact. This allows for a safer, more efficient and faster treatment.

How is the Madonna eye lift conducted?

The eyes are cleaned and covered with a topical anesthetic for 35 to 40 minutes. After the anesthetic has taken effect, the topical is removed and eye shields placed over eyes. The treatment covers the entire upper and lower lid (to the lashes) and takes less than 5 minutes per eye.

What is the recovery time like?

Recovery time varies based on the aggressiveness of the treatment. Redness and swelling should be expected for 2 to 3 days. Most experience minimal discomfort during and after treatment.

How many treatments are needed?

The number of treatments needed depends on the severity of wrinkle damage and the desired result. Two to five treatments 3 months apart are generally required.
